Education
We provide a wide array of educational services to the community:Professional Education: We have provided training to our colleagues at the request of a variety of institutions. Previous workshops and presentations have been conducted for the Maryland Psychological Association, Montgomery General Hospital, Montgomery County Youth Workers Training, American Montessori Society, the Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents, Diamonds in the Rough 2010 Conference, and a variety of in and outpatient treatment centers in the greater Washington Metropolitan area and beyond. Topics have included:

- Psychological, Neuropsychological, and Psychoeducational Assessment
- Stress Management
- Executive Skills and their Implications for Learning
- Training for postdoctoral students (Psychology Associates, psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows) in therapy and assessment skills

- Supervision of family therapy
- Adolescent substance abuse
Community Education: Previous workshops have been conducted for public and private schools in the greater Washington Metropolitan area, CHADD, the Silver Spring YMCA, Suburban Hospital, Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, and the Bethesda Wednesday Morning Women's Group. Topics have included:

- Executive Skills and their Relevance in the classroom
- Basic Parenting
- Parenting Children with Special Needs
- The Social and Emotional Challenges of AD/HD
- How to parent a child with AD/HD when you have AD/HD
- Stress management in the workplace
We are available to speak to your group or staff on a variety of topics affecting the healthy development of children, adolescents, and adults.
